OCS 4: Get Stoved

Xtra Happy Though both came from the same sessions and were released initially together, Volume 4 ever so slightly edges Volume 3 out for me due to a few choice tracks. Most notably, the endearing and sweet cover of Elizabeth Cotten's 'Oh Babe, It Ain't No Lie', but also tracks like the innocent sounding yet eerie 'Crime On My Mind', the 35 Reasons reminiscent 'Head' and 'Head 2', and the sleepy-eyed singalong 'Tower & The Wall'.

Oh, and 'Dreadful Heart' is here too to close things off; lovely glum stuff. Favorite track: Tower & The Wall.
